Our Story

A lot has happened in 6 years but here is just a glimpse of our life together. Each date is the day each photo was taken. You can truly see the time pass with each change in Michaela's hair!

While Rilei is actually Michaela's cousin they have grown up together, often in the same household, and they are very much sisters at heart. Rilei is a nail tech in Novi, MI and Michaela adores her biweekly appointments were they get to catch up and wedding plan. Her home is overrun but two tortoiseshell cats- Lavender and Rosemary. Rilei is cherished by both Michaela and Jack.

Rilei Miller -  Cousin to the Bride

Julian is Jack's younger brother. He is a passionate history teacher and is currently working towards his Master's in education. Julian teaches in Coldwater, MI where he lives with his girlfriend Frances. He is the most kindhearted brother to both Jack and Michaela and always has a fun fact ready to go.

Kelsey and Michaela met through Kelsey’s husband Brendan! They are now the best of friends and enjoy playing tabletop games and yapping together on facetime. Kelsey is a wine enthusiast and proud mom to three cats-  Etta, Celeste, and Mabel. Kelsey can usually be found cozied up with a craft when shes not being a genius engineer with giant radios.

Brendan is one of Jacks oldest friends. They’re always playing games together even while Brendan lives in Illinois! Where he lives with his wife Kelsey. If you need to know absolutely anything about Dungeons and Dragons gameplay or time with a wholesome buddy Brendan is your guy.

Brendan Carter

Madison and Michaela have been friends since their sophomore year at Theodore Roosevelt High School. Madison has a knack for impromptu deep conversations followed by big laughs. Madison is an excellent artist based in Kalamazoo where she lives with her bunny Eleanor Roosevelt. 

Madison McKenzie

Jack has been friends with Trevor since they attended Sashabaw Middle School together. He is skilled is making everyone around him laugh. Trevor is a key member to regular game nights and a Survivor aficionado. He lives with his girlfriend Alaina in Auburn Hills. 

Trevor Heasley

A Philadelphia Firefighter and great cousin. Shawn is a phenomenal father to Dalton and Riley. He’s also the designated fire starter at our annual family camping trip (ironic we know). Jack and Michaela are so thankful he agreed to take on the responsibility of pronouncing the couple man and wife!
