What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The (short) ceremony will start at 6:00 PM, so we recommend guests arrive around 5:45 to ensure you don’t miss anything!
What is the dress code?

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The plan is to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors with dinner indoors. Weather pending of course!
What will the weather be like?
While we can’t predict the weather, it is summer in St. Louis after all, so it will likely be HOT!
What will your wedding-day timeline look like?
The (short) ceremony will begin at 6pm with a cocktail hour immediately following. You’ll be seated for a sit-down dinner followed by dancing until 11pm.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
The wedding and reception are located at Defiance Ridge Vineyards:

After getting off Highway 64/40 onto Missouri 94, you’ll head south toward Defiance. The winery is located off 94 on the right side.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! Kids are more than welcome to come. There’s LOTS of space if they want to bring outdoor toys to play with. Make sure to RSVP for them or let us know ASAP!
Is there free parking available at the venue?
Yes! We’ll have the entire venue to ourselves, so there’s plenty of parking in front of the building, by the pond, and in the grassy area in back.
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?
When RSVPing, please mark that you have dietary restrictions/ allergies and detail what those restrictions are so we can alert the staff.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, of course! 😊 The open bar will start immediately following the ceremony. You are more than welcome to grab a drink to have during the ceremony! There will be a cash bar open upon arrival.
Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?
For your convenience, rooms have been reserved at The Courtyard by Marriott at their St. Louis- Chesterfield Valley location at a discounted rate (under “Burton/Evans Wedding”). Please call 636-778-2522 if you wish to book.

What's the best way to RSVP?
You can RSVP at www.theknot.com/andy-michelle/RSVP OR by texting either Andy (314-718-7084) or Michelle (636-236-1320).
When is the RSVP deadline?
The deadline to RSVP is Friday, August 18th.
I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in St. Louis?
If you are staying at the hotel in Chesterfield Valley, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. There’s also a Top Golf right in the Valley along with an outlet mall.
Can I take an Uber or Lyft home?
Lyfts and (especially) Ubers are VERY spotty at this location. PLEASE plan ahead on rides/ carpool if you can- especially if you plan on drinking. Hwy 94 is very windy & can be a bit sketchy at night.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Yes! We are registered at The Knot (www.theknot.com/andy-michelle), Amazon, and Crate & Barrel.
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Your presence is enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a card box & gift table for your convenience. THANK YOU!

Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
