Denver is FULL of things to do and places to eat. Here are a few of our favorite places, from activities we've discovered on dates to restaurants making some of the tastiest food we've had recently.
Take a little sit-down break with some tasty food at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Make sure you check out the movies they are showing (and pay attention to the location--each one is different). The churro popcorn is excellent!
Some of our favorite dates are at antique stores. This antique mall is enormous and filled with treasures of all kinds.
Here's the spot! Our first date at the Stanley turned out pretty dang well. There are restaurants, boutiques, and more in the building. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours.
Spend the time between the ceremony and the reception visiting one of our early date spots. They have exhibits that cover art from all over the world--pick just one floor or try to visit them all!
The Botanic Gardens are a relaxing and pretty place to spend some time walking and talking. It's where we took our engagement photos! Plus, if you're in town the night before the wedding, they'll be doing their holiday Blossoms of Light, where you can visit the gardens at night.
The Dairy Block is filled with restaurants, bars, and boutique shops.
Healthy and delicious, relatively quick. Right next to the Cherry Creek Mall AND they validate your parking! The Cherry Creek Mall is what we Denverites call the "fancy mall"--it's home to several high end stores and boutiques.
Some of the best hibachi in Denver. It's great for groups or larger parties (just make sure to have a reservation if you're with a larger group).
Adam says, "Try the carrots. Trust me."
American comfort food in the heart of downtown.
An all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse. If you just want meat, this is the place for you.
An adorable school-themed restaurant with American-style dishes. The chicken and waffle skewers are great.
A cozy family-owned restaurant that specializes in breakfast, but their lunches are delicious too!
Just outside of Downtown Denver, this restaurant has a constantly changing menu that shifts depending on what's in season. Everything is always yummy.
La Chiva is a cute restaurant on South Broadway. Their food is authentic Colombian.
