WHERE TO STAY

There are plenty of options for you to stay for the weekend. We are not opting for a hotel block or group transportation, so you can feel free stay where ever is most comfortable for you. Below is some guidance and suggestions- if you have any questions please reach out to us!

WASHINGTON DC

There are a variety of Marriott, Hilton, and other hotel options throughout the city.


There are also plenty of Airbnbs in the city. Neighborhoods like Dupont, Georgetown, and Logan Circle are walkable, accessible to the National Mall, and within a 20 minute rideshare from Glen Echo Park.

Friendship Heights (DC/MD)

There are a variety of Marriott and Hilton hotel options in Friendship Heights. These options are conveniently located in a downtown area with easy access to storefronts and public transit. The Metro's Red Line can take you directly into downtown DC.


GETTING TO GLEN ECHO:

For rideshare, Glen Echo is about a 10-15 minute drive from Friendship Heights.


For public transportation, the 29 (BETHESDA) bus route will take about 20 minutes from Friendship Heights to Glen Echo. The bus picks up at Western Ave & 44th Street and drops off at MacArthur Blvd and Goldsboro Rd.

BETHESDA (MD)

There are a variety of Marriott and Hilton hotel options in Bethesda. These options are conveniently located in a downtown area with easy access to storefronts and public transit. The Metro's Red Line can take you directly into downtown DC.


GETTING TO GLEN ECHO:

For rideshare, Glen Echo is about a 15 minute drive from Bethesda.


For public transportation, the 29 (FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS) bus route will take about 20 minutes from Bethesda to Glen Echo. The bus picks up at Bethesda Station Bus Bay E and drops off at MacArthur Blvd & Goldsboro Rd.

TYSONS CORNER (VA)

There are a variety of Marriott and Hilton hotel options in Tyson's Corner. These options are conveniently located around a vast shopping center with storefronts and entertainment. While there is access to public transit, the Metro's Silver Line takes about an hour to bring you directly into downtown DC.

For rideshare, Glen Echo is about a 15 minute drive from Tyson's Corner.
