Our Wedding

We first met about six years ago at work, but we never really talked until January of 2022. I was coming to relieve him from a part time job he was working, since I was working the second half of that shift. I remember asking him what the number and pin was to clock in and he said, Ill text it to you, just give me your number. Little did I know this was him getting my phone number.Nos conocimos por primera vez hace unos seis años en el trabajo, pero realmente no hablamos hasta Enero de 2022. Yo llegaba para relevarlo de un trabajo que él estaba haciendo, ya que me tocaba trabajar la segunda mitad de ese turno. Recuerdo que le pregunté cuál era el número y el pin para registrar mi entrada, y él me dijo: “Te lo mando por mensaje, solo dame tu número.” Sin saberlo, ese fue su modo de conseguir mi número de teléfono.

How we met... Cómo nos conocimos...

July 9th, 2022 we went on our first date to watch Barbarian (we both love horror movies).El 9 de julio de 2022 tuvimos nuestra primera cita para ver Barbarian (a los dos nos encantan las películas de terror).

On July 30th, 2022 he took me out to dinner, we went out for some drinks and at the end of the night he told me how much he liked me and formally asked me to be his girlfriend. He was such a gentleman. From that day on we have been inseperable and we annoy each other every day, but we both wouldnt change it for the world.El 30 de Julio de 2022 me llevó a cenar, luego salimos por unos tragos y, al final de la noche, me dijo cuánto le gustaba y me pidió formalmente que fuera su novia. Fue todo un caballero. Desde ese día hemos sido inseparables. Nos fastidiamos todos los días, pero ninguno de los dos lo cambiaría por nada en el mundo.

On July 18th, 2025 he planned a surprise photoshoot and asked me to marry him, with my son by our side.And we cant wait to say I Do in front of our family and friends.El 18 de Julio de 2025 planeó una sesión de fotos sorpresa y me pidió que me casara con él, con mi hijo a nuestro lado.Y no podemos esperar para decir “Sí, acepto” frente a nuestra familia y amigos.

My uncle, my father's brother, has graciously taken on the role of giving me away at my wedding. While my father is unable to fulfill this tradition, my uncle has always been a strong presence in my life. I am deeply honored to have him by my side as I  begin this new chapter.

Aracely (Chely), is Michelle's amazing older sister. Even though Chely wasn't too happy to share all the attention with me when I came into the world, she loved me.  Chely has been like a mother to me throughout our childhood years, and a best friend as I got older. Chely has been so helpful throught the wedding planning and I can't wait to say I do with you by my side. 

Aracely (Chely) es la increíble hermana mayor de Michelle. Aunque no estaba muy feliz de tener que compartir toda la atención conmigo cuando llegué al mundo, me quiso igual. Chely ha sido como una madre para mí durante nuestra infancia y, al crecer, se convirtió en una gran amiga. Karla, my little sister, growing up together is something I will cherish forever. No matter how many times we fought, we always made up and we always looked out for each other. Karla, mi hermanita, crecer juntas es algo que siempre voy a atesorar. No importa cuántas veces peleamos, siempre nos reconciliamos y siempre nos cuidamos la una a la otra. Moni, who knew that moving schools in middle school would lead me to you. I always remember when your mom would drop you off at our house for the weekend so she can go gamble haha. So many memories together, and even though you are hundreds of miles away, our friendship stays strong. I shared your special day with you, and now you get to share mine with me.
