Dressy Casual

We want you to feel comfortable in the Georgia summer heat. Light, airy fabrics are encouraged. Think bright colors, florals & patterns for men & women. An inspiration board is provided below.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formerly included on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, a plus one will be listed on your addressed invite.

Invitations will be specific and include the names of children if they are invited. However, we encourage you to use this time as an outing for yourself!

The ceremony will be indoors, as will the meal at the reception. However, the reception venue has a lovely patio that we encourage guests to use during the visiting hour and dessert, as we will have a popsicle stand outside along with some lawn games.

Athens in July is typically quite hot and humid. The temperature will likely be around 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and afternoon rain showers are typical.

Please arrive 30 minutes early to ensure ample time to park, walk up to the church, and be seated. A map is provided on the "Travel" tab and below to guide your parking at both the ceremony & the reception.

The bride & groom & their families will be taking photos at this time. Please use the hour to travel from the ceremony to the reception, mingle with one another, explore the Botanical Gardens, take photos, and relax. Beverages will be available on the patio of the Terrace Room to refresh you while awaiting lunch.

We will have coffee at the ceremony, cold drinks available during the refreshment hour, and lunch from Taziki's will be served around 12:30 pm with popsicles as dessert.
