Dog Sledding with Snowhook Adventures

From September to November, Snowhook Adventures offers a dog sledding adventure which is 2 hours in duration and priced at $55 per person. They also offer a Northern Lights Adventure package which includes the dog sledding adventure, a ATV/UTV day tour, and a 2 days/1 night stay in a private cabin in Willow, priced at $350 per person.
Year-round, The Reindeer Grove offers a 30-minute reindeer “meet and feed” experience (perfect for the kiddos!) which includes a complementary beverage, an introduction to the ‘deer, the ability to feed the ‘deer, photo opportunities, and more than likely a chance to pet their resident reindeer. This experience is priced at $20 per person (ages 2 and under are free). The Reindeer Grove also offers a 2-hour Alaskan fireside cookout on their reindeer farm which includes a hearty northern meal of chili (reindeer or vegetarian), sourdough flatbread and baked potato with s’mores as a dessert - all cooked on an open fire - plus bottomless warm beverages to stay toasty.
From May to mid-September, Denali Zipline Tours (DZT) offers a Talkeetna zipline adventure which is ~3 hours in duration with a weight limit of 80 - 270 pounds per rider. This experience is priced at $164 for ages 15+ and $119 for ages 10 - 14.

From May to mid-October, The Alaska Birch Syrup and Wild Harvest shop is open daily from 10am - 6pm. Their Tour and Tasting experience runs daily from 11am - 5pm on the hour and is priced at $10 per person (children 12 and under are free).
From mid-May to mid-September, the northbound Denali Star Train departs Anchorage for the 356-mile, 12-hour journey to Fairbanks, with stops in Wasilla, Talkeetna and Denali National Park; while in Fairbanks, the southbound Denali Star embarks on the reverse.
The northbound Denali Star Train departs Talkeetna at 11:20am and arrives in Denali National Park just over four hours later at approximately 3:40pm. You can travel in Adventure Class or the GoldStar Dome service from the Alaska Railroad.

From mid-May to mid-September, Willow Creek Tours offers a rafting adventure which is ~3 hours in duration with three departure times daily of 7am, 11am, or 3pm. This experience is priced at $79 per rafter.
From May to mid-September, the AWCC is open daily from 9am - 7pm. AWCC General Admission is priced at $25 per person for ages 13+ ($22 for active duty military) and $20 per person for ages 4-12 (children 3 and under are free).
The Alaska Aviation Museum is located on the world’s largest and busiest seaplane base, Lake Hood, at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. From May to September, the AAM is open daily from 10am-5pm. AAM General Admission is priced at $17 per person for ages 14+ ($14 for active duty military, veterans, and ages 65+) and $10 per person for ages 3-13 (children 2 and under are free). They offer a family discount rate of $45 which admits 2 adults and up to 3 children ages 13 and under.
Accessible year-round, Eklutna Lake is a turquoise glacial lake surrounded by towering mountains. In the summertime, options to explore Eklutna Lake include hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, four-wheeling, and overnight camping.
