The parliamentary procedure competition in FFA was the event that brought us together in high school.

We started dating on July 7, 2017. This was one of the first pictures we took together at a football game not long after that (as you can tell by our awkward pose).

One was sporty, one was musical, but we both went to each others' events and cheered the other one on. This picture is from our spring band concert in 2018, when Ben came to watch after a baseball game.

We have been so fortunate to be able to see each other through some important milestones during our relationship. Ben is a year older, so he graduated from PBL High School in 2018.

The following year, I graduated. We were so excited to be going to the same school again!

Now both in college at the University of Illinois, we spent Saturdays going to the Illinois football games together.

Both of us were involved in Greek life at UIUC, so we got to go to Ben's Barn Dance in the fall...

and Sigma Alpha's formal in the spring!

After celebrating our high school graduations together four years prior, we were lucky enough to celebrate our college graduations together as well. Ben graduated from UIUC in May 2022.

And then in December of 2022, I graduated. We loved our time in college, and the University of Illinois will always hold a special place in our hearts.

He proposed! We are so excited, after 6 years of dating, to be taking the next step and becoming husband and wife!
