This is one of our favorite places to eat in downtown Champaign. They have amazing pulled and fried chicken, potato wedges, and a large beer selection as well as frozen cocktail slushies.

For a more upscale Mexican dining experience, this is the place to be. Their food is delicious (especially the chicken tacos), and their margaritas are so yummy and refreshing. Mikayla's must-eat place whenever she's in the area.

Our favorite hometown Mexican restaurant! We're both from Paxton, and although we might be biased, we think it's the best Mexican restaurant around. And they have the BEST staff!

One of our favorite places to spend a night out, they have walls of beers, ciders, and seltzers on tap for sampling. The interior has skee ball, darts, and other games - overall full of good vibes.

For a more up-scale experience, Punch! has tons of fun cocktails and yummy appetizers. It's very chic and perfect for a date night!

If you're looking for a nice place to walk around in the evening, the UIUC Main Quad is beautiful and has lots of room for the little ones to blow off some steam! Since the wedding is in the summer, it won't be full of college students, either. A great place to play frisbee, read a book, or get some sunshine!

The place where Ben proposed! About 20 minutes from Champaign, the forest preserve is absolutely beautiful and has bike trails, walking paths, a koi fish pond, and a golf course (Ben is a big fan of their Par 3). It's well worth the short drive over, and is especially beautiful in the evenings at sunset.
