What is the easiest way to get to and from the venues?
We will be having a shuttle bus available to take guests to and from the hotel to St. Hedwigs as well as to and from the hotel to Turner Hall! If you are planning to drive yourself to the ceremony, there is street parking available around the church. If you are planning to drive yourself to the reception, there is limited street parking near Turner Hall, but paid parking garages available nearby.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Unfortunately, as much as we would like to have our friends’ and families children, we are choosing to have this be an adult-only celebration. Please refer to your invitation for invited guests.
Are there any colors or styles you’d prefer me to wear?
Attire: cocktail or formal. We are not asking guests to wear any certain style/color. The Bridal party will be in black tuxes and black dresses.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
We will be serving hand passed appetizers at cocktail hour followed by a sit down buffet style dinner. We will have a selection of beef, chicken, and pasta options available along with a handful of sides. Any dietary restrictions can be indicated within your RSVP and will have an option of an individual meal.
Will there be an open bar?
Duh.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes. The ceremony will be ending around 3:00 while cocktail hour does not start until 5:00. The hotel along with many bars/restaurants are available near by to kill time! Please refer to “Things To Do” tab for ideas.
What time will the wedding reception end? Is there an after party?
To celebrate NYE in style, our reception has been extended to 1:00am. Therefore, there will be no after party planned.
