Our story begins in Seoul, South Korea, where Mike and I both arrived from the US with fresh hopes and brand-new job opportunities. Almost as soon as we met, I sensed something special: he was incredibly loving, thoughtful, caring, and passionate. From the very start, Mike pursued me with genuine intention, and I cherished the certainty in his heart.
As we explored life in Korea together, I discovered that, despite our different cultural backgrounds, we shared a deep connection. We faced challenges side by side, and through every trial, I grew more aware of how perfectly we complement each other. Before long, I came to trust him not only as a partner in daily life, but as someone who could lovingly guide me—and our future family—with wisdom and kindness.
I truly believe God brought Mike into my life to remind me every morning and night that I am cherished. He has kept his promise to care for me and our family in countless ways. So I’m beyond grateful you’re willing to join our wedding and celebrate with us a joyous chapter in our lives. I promise, with every gift God has given me, to love this amazing man wholeheartedly for all the days to come.
I remember the day I waited at a coffee shop for two hours, convinced I’d been stood up. Then she walked in, and everything else just melted away—my worries, my impatience, and even the taste of my lukewarm latte. Our first date lasted eight hours (yes, eight!), and I was so smitten that I planned our next two dates before we even said goodbye. By our fourth month together, I was quietly figuring out how to put a ring on her finger. I like to think I knew all along—we just had to let her feelings catch up to mine!
Life has already served us plenty of twists and turns, but I’m grateful that the person I want by my side through it all is my best friend. She brightened my day when she finally showed up at that coffee shop, and she’s been lighting up my life ever since. I couldn’t be happier to call her my wife and can’t wait to see where the rest of our story leads.
Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
