Hi I’m Tina, Mindy’s sister. Growing up, Mindy is the older sister that I always look up to. She’s cool, a little silly, but a lot of fun. Even though we used to fight quite a bit when we were kids, I always look forward to our sister dates, with Lisa too. Mindy always helped me with my science homework, and we bond best over our love for food, especially sushi.

Brian is Eric's entrepreneurial and industrious cousin, but more like a little brother. Back in their younger days, he slept over every summer at Eric's house and took his clothes. They always played together, hung out together, worked out together and Eric wrote all of Brian's essays and writing assignments. Today, he's father to Eric's adorable niece, Kylie, and through his day job, contributes to making Ontario's healthcare system more efficient.

Being the oldest sibling has its advantages; an example is when I get to witness the ever-so-brave younger sister piggy-back me across the room because I saw a mouse. Being too young to be afraid, fearless Mindy carries me to safety in the dark basement. This is just a small preview of our childhood. Growing up together, though we had our fair share of quarrels, we had shared way more great memories. More stories to follow at the wedding. Waaaait for it.

An engineer by trade, Ken is also Eric's fitness and self-help guru. Over the years he's imparted wisdom and knowledge that has not only improved Eric's workout, running, volleyball and snowboarding skills, but also his choices in wine and whisky. Lately, he's even made Eric slightly more handy. But most importantly, Ken gave Eric Mindy's phone number!

I have known Mindy since the fourth grade. We met through a class project about electricity. And although we never attended the same school together again after elementary school, we have remained in close contact since. We are now counting 24 years of bff with many food adventures shared!

Eric met Ken, now Dr. Lee, and an anaesthesiologist, in the 9th grade. Then, he was known as K-dawg, and they spent their free time dominating Starcraft, and plotting for future success, and how it would allow them to "ball out" like Ja Rule on a yacht in his videos. And despite often not living in the same city (Ken being ever the traveller/ adventurer), they've managed to remain close for over 20 years.

Al is a reformed CPA, CA turned high school educator/ coach. He is also Eric's brother-in-law. Eric met Al during their university years through his sister, Odile. Since, they've enjoyed catching basketball games, ribbing one another and Sunday family dinners, as Eric tries in vain to broaden Al's taste palate, and food choices, beyond chicken, cereal and vegetarian pizza.

Hello, my name is Laurie and I've known Mindy since we were 14/15, which makes it about 18 years. We met when we shared the same cabin during our grade 9 field trip to Muskoka. My favorite memory of Mindy were the times we called each other English twins because we both struggled so badly in English class despite how hard we tried. Mindy is also going to be my distant relative through marriage (lol) when she marries Eric!

Mariem met Mindy in their first year of optometry school at the Pennsylvania college of optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They immediately became close friends and spent countless days as study partners throughout their program, celebrating each victory together along the way. Eventually they became roommates and share many fond memories during their stay in Philadelphia ranging from road trips to chicken feet to their profound love for chocolix. Although they lived in different counties after graduation, they maintain contact on a daily basis and visit each other frequently.
