Haleigh and Miranda met through a summer missionary program during their college days in Tuscaloosa. They will have been best friends for 10 years at the time of the wedding, and Miranda considers Haleigh to be family.

Miranda and Lauren also met during the summer missionary program, that Lauren's husband, Jeff (the officiant), ran. Lauren is also Haleigh's older sister, and Miranda likes to pretend she's their long lost sister.

Miranda and Mallori became friends in college on various girls trips across the country and internationally. They were roommates for three years after college and raised their three dogs together.

Miranda and Carleigh met through Haleigh and her husband Matt. Carleigh and her husband, Dyllan (Groomsman), are part of a weekly dinner group, as well as attend church with Miranda and Brandon. Miranda considers them to be her and Brandon's first "couple friends."

Alex is Miranda's younger sister, and has therefore known her the longest. Miranda was recently a bridesmaid in Alex's November 2023 wedding to Manuel Ochoa, Miranda's favorite brother-in-law.

Erin is Miranda's cousin, born when Miranda was 15. Miranda loves spending time with and talking to Erin, and has enjoyed growing up with Erin.

Brandon and Blake met in college at The University of Alabama and became close friends during the weekly game nights Blake hosted at his home. He has now started his family in Huntsville, where he has hosted Brandon and Miranda.

Brandon and Aleks met in 7th grade (but weren’t originally friends). They became closer in high school and have maintained that friendship despite living in different states for over a decade.

Steven is another of Brandon’s college friends and they met in their MIS courses. They also enjoyed weekly game nights in college and have recently started the tradition again following Steven’s move from Washington back to Alabama.

Brandon and Dyllan have met more recently, but became fast friends over their shared sense of humor. Dyllan (and his bridesmaid wife, Carleigh) is a part of Brandon and Miranda’s weekly dinner group and goes to church with them as well.

Brandon and Zach met in 6th grade and shared several hobbies growing up. They have been able to keep in contact despite not getting to see each other much since they live in different states.

Evan is Brandon’s cousin and the flower girl, Savannah’s, older brother. Brandon loves getting to bond with Evan at their annual family vacation.

Jeff is another of Miranda's longtime friends. Over the ten years they have known each other, Miranda has come to see Jeff as the older brother she always wanted.

Savannah is Brandon's cousin and goddaughter. Miranda and Savannah have quickly become buddies during Garner family get togethers and trips. Miranda likes to believe she's Savannah's favorite.
