Who doesn't love a good Pulga?! Just located along South Loop 410 and State Hwy 16 is one of the biggest flea markets in South SA! The wedding is on a weekend so it's the perfect time to find some good hulls before or after the big day!

Are you a nature-lover or need a good reason to get out the house? Take a walk on the trails at the Medina River Nature area that's located along N State Hwy 16 on the way to the venue if you're coming down from San Antonio! Just make sure to dress for the occasion! Be wary of the not-so-friendly Texas sun and rattlesnakes!

If you're from SA, you've probably heard the stories of this mysterious bridge and the weird creature that resides there. I'm sure most of our parents, my mom especially, would scare us as children to behave or the Donkey Lady was going to come and get us! If you're a fan of the scary and supernatural, check out her origin story and take a drive to the historic bridge that she haunts just a few miles away from the venue!

Looking for a place that has good food and fresh farm-grown goods? Check out Poteet's local farmers market, Farm to Familia, located just 10 miles south of the venue! They have food trucks, a stage for special events or music and a market with fresh fruits and veggies straight from the near-by farms with boutique that sells hand-made unique items by their vendors! It's also a great place for the kiddos, both human and furbabies, to run around in their own parks!

It's not a party without the wine! Want to taste some homemade wine made from the famous, savory Poteet strawberries grown just a few steps away from the winery? Check out the Poteet Country Winery and take home a sample of the sweetness!
