1. When and where is the wedding?

The wedding is Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 4:30 PM at Rustic Oaks in Moorhead, MN. The venue is ~12 miles from the Fargo-Moorhead area.

2. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Think Semi-formal/cocktail. Cute, classy, and comfy (so you can dance all night obviously).

3. What time should I arrive?

Arrive by 4:15 pm to get settled and find parking.

5. Are kids allowed?

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you can use this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun and relaxing evening with us!

6. What’s the weather like?

Midwest weather can vary greatly at this time, from very nice 70s to maybe even snow! Typically the average highs are in the 60s and lows in the 40s (at night or in the early morning). We recommend checking the temperature a few days prior to packing!

7. Can I take photos or post on social media?

Yes! Tag us in your pictures. You can also upload any pictures you take during the wedding here. Wedding hashtag to come!

9. Where should I stay?

There are multiple options for hotels or AirBNBs depending on what you’re looking for. Since most of our guest will be coming out of town, we have reserved 2 blocks of hotels at The Mictrotel in Moorhead and the Holiday Inn in Fargo. Refer to the Travel tab for more info.

10. Is there transportation provided?

Yes! A shuttle will be provided to and from the venue. There is also the option to use ride-share apps (uber/lyft) or cabs if needed.

11. Is there parking available?

Yes! There is plenty of parking.

12. What’s the schedule for the wedding day?

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm followed by a cocktail hour. Our reception will start at 6 pm and end at midnight when the venue closes.

13. Are there other wedding-related events?

There is a rehearsal dinner for the wedding party the night before. No events on Sunday. Please take this time to recover and visit one of our local coffee shops!

14. Will there be an open bar?

We will have select complimentary drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available for everyone. If you are looking for something else, a cash bar will also be available.

15. What kind of food will be served?

Our dinner will be buffet style. Feeding our guests is important to us, so please let us know about any dietary restrictions.

16. Where are you registered?

We are registered at Amazon and Crate & Barrel. You can also give to our Honeymoon Fund! See our Registry tab for more details.
