Michaela's Version:

Mitch and I first met in the Fall of 2021, when my new friend, Katie invited me out to dinner with her roommate. Making the assumption that her roommate was a girl, I was pleasantly surprised to be introduced to my future husband. Shortly after our first meeting, Mitch invited me to a college game day viewing party at his house. Surprised again, when I arrived, I was the only person he invited to this “party” making this our first date! A few weeks later I found myself at my future brother-in-laws wedding, pictured above.

A few of my favorite memories with Mitch have been our backpacking trips, shopping at Marshalls, and after work commuting phone chats.

Mitch's Version:

I met my future wife when my roommate Katie invited her new friend from work, Michaela, to dinner with us. My first question was, "Is she cute?" I was surprised when I spotted a beautiful girl walking across the street to our restaurant and got more and more excited as she started to get closer to us. If you have met Michaela before you will understand what I am about to say, she struck me by surprise with her personality full force up front. I fell in love from day one. Following that night I already started to brainstorm plans on how I could see her again.

Some of my favorite memories with Michaela are our first hiking trip up Old Rag where I really got to see her sense of fun and adventure. I also will always remember our trip to the Chilean Patagonia, where we celebrated our engagement.
