Their story began the year after Dayna graduated from High School when she sent Mitchell a friend request over Instagram. They had both attended Rosewood State High School at the same time, knew of each other, but hadn't quite crossed paths, being in year 9 and 12 respectively. Mitchell got drunk one night and decided it was the best time to shoot his shot, so sent a message! It took another 6-months until they could finally lock in that first date. Be sure to ask Dayna & Mitchell who won putt putt that night because their versions might differ... Despite making the joke there was a dead body in the back of his car (It was just a soccer ball rolling around), Dayna & Mitchell became inseparable after that. They moved in together a couple months after and began saving for their very first home. Despite some challenges, Mitch supported Dayna through law school (he really was the only reason she ate), their builder for their first home went broke halfway through completion leaving them in the dust, they navigated entering the working/corporate life and have come out the other end. Now, they look forward to smashing their next milestones being renoing (for the first time) their forever home, getting married and continuing to feed their travel bug.

They can't wait to celebrate June 20 with all of you, and establish this date as their "forever anniversary.
