When will I receive a formal invitation?

A save the date has been sent to share our wedding website, date and location. A formal invitation will be sent out in early 2025.

How Can I Arrange Travel Accommodations?

We kindly ask our guests to reserve a hotel room at the time of your RSVP. Guests may book directly with the Ritz Carlton to secure a room using the information on the Travel page. The group rate extends from Saturday, October 25, 2025 - Tuesday, October 28, 2025. There is a three night minimum, however you can extend your stay longer upon request and based on availability. Flights can be secured directly with an airline of your choice. The following suggested airlines offer direct service to St. Thomas: Washington, DC - United New York, NY - United, American, Delta Charlotte, NC - American Atlanta, GA - Delta

Will this be a Beach Wedding?

No. Our wedding will not be on the beach but it will be outdoors overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea as will the cocktail hour. The reception will be indoors. The Welcome Reception will be on the beach. It will be the day before the wedding and will give our loved ones a chance to get to know each other.

Do I need a passport to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands?

If you are a U.S. citizen a passport is not required, but it still serves as the best identification when traveling. Otherwise, you must be prepared to show evidence of citizenship when departing the islands, such as a raised-seal birth certificate and government-issued photo ID. If you are not a U.S. citizen, then a passport issued by your country of origin is required. If you are not sure of your status, please contact the U.S. Customs & Border Protection agency (www.cbp.gov).

Can I stay at another resort?

To join in the wedding festivities which will all be hosted at the Ritz Carlton, you must be a resort guest.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

We are requesting all guests to RSVP and reserve your hotel room no later than March 27, 2025. We would appreciate a response as soon as you are able to allow us to plan accordingly, even if it is a regret. There are a limited number of hotel rooms available. A timely response will ensure we can accommodate all guests.

When Should I Arrive?

Guest are asked to plan to arrive 2-3 days before the wedding to join in the planned wedding festivities throughout the weekend. Please acount for the possibility of travel delays. If you would like to extend your stay for a longer period, please contact the hotel representative listed on the travel page.

What is the Attire?

Think Cocktail Party with a tropical flair. For those who have inquired, our wedding colors are sage, mauve and tan. You are free to wear whatever suits your fancy other than the Bride's color :). We would love to see you glammed up and camera ready!

Can I Bring a Guest?

Unfortunately, no. This is an intimate celebration with limited space. Only the person addressed in the invitation is invited. Due to the wedding capacity with hotel venue, we are unable to accommodate any additional guests.

Is there are wedding registry?

The couple does not have a registry. They have accumulated more than they need over the years. It is your presence, not your presents, that are most important on this occasion. However, if you desire to bless the couple with a gift, monetary expressions or gift cards would be appreciated.
