Q + A

How do I RSVP?

To RSVP, please come to this website and find your name. Once you have entered your name it will prompt you to select whether or not you and anyone else in your party will be attending or not! We will also include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us. If neither of these options are working you can also text Miyah at 313-772-0640! We ask that you kindly RSVP by September 6th, 2025 in order to give the venue enough time to plan accordingly.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

You will definitely be missed! IF you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Miyah or Mark as soon as you are aware.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

If you do not RSVP by September 6th, 2025, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's.

Can I bring a date / Plus One?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name)" & "Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Due to venue accommodations, we ask that only children listed on the invitation are in attendance at the wedding & reception. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this! ****Just as a gentle reminder as well, after 9:00pm, the reception will be more geared towards an adult crowd (i.e. music choice, language, dancing, etc.)****

What time should I arrive?

A time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invite and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat no later than 10 minutes before the ceremony starts. We encourage you to arrive earlier than the 10 minutes before in order to find parking and get a good seat!

Are there phones allowed during the ceremony?

We are having an "Unplugged Ceremony". We kindly ask that phones or cameras not be used during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I Do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Both our ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The ceremony will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont, OH and the reception will follow at Ole Zim's Wagon Shed in Gibsonburg, OH.

Will there be a bar?

Yes! There will be an open bar that will have a selection of beers/seltzers, liquors, and wines to choose from. We ask as individuals who worked in the service industry for a long time, please be kind and generous to those working to keep your glasses full and make your night a fun one!

What is the dress code?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. We ask that those in attendance wear cocktail/formal attire.

What can we do in between the wedding ceremony and the reception?

For those of you who have reserved a room at one of the selected hotels, there will be time in between the ceremony and the reception for you to check in to your hotel accommodations. For those of you who do not need to check into your hotel accommodations, you can make your way over to where the reception will be held at Ole Zim's Wagon Shed in Gibsonburg, OH and enjoy light snacks and refreshments before cocktail hour and appetizers begin.
