The wedding will be a blend of Middle Eastern and Western cultures.
5:30 PM Social Hour begins (dry bar)
6:30 Wedding begins
- Mohammad’s entrance will follow Arabic tradition, with dancers, music, and his entire family dancing behind him as he is led in by his two eldest uncles.
- Kennedy will follow with a classic Western entrance, with her family and flower girls walking in ahead of her. She will be given away by her father.
After the couple is united and rings are exchanged, they will walk around the dance floor to present themselves as husband and wife to their family and friends.
First dance will follow, and, gradually, the dance floor will open.
Dinner and cake cutting
Debka Team- a traditional Middle Eastern dance. It is a line dance where dancers link arms or hold hands and move together in a rhythm. It's performed in a row or a semi-circle with a leader at one end who guides the steps and energy.
Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dance
Daheeya- traditional men’s dance and chant where men stand in two lines, rhythmically chanting poetic verses while stepping and swaying in unison. Building in intensity, a lead chanter recites lines that the group repeats.

Gifting of Gold- the bride will receive gold jewelry from the groom’s family, as part of the tradition of presenting dowry gold. This gold represents honor, good fortune, and the financial foundation the bride carries with her into married life.
10:30 Couple will stand on stage and take photos with guests
11:30 Wedding Ends
Many women will be wearing gold and traditional thobes. A thobe is a long, elaborately embroidered dress. The intricate designs tell a story, celebrating cultural heritage, family history, and personal milestones.
Others will be wearing floor-length gowns that might have intricate beadwork and embroidery.
