Ali and Afaf Rasheed are the proud parents of Mohammad Rasheed and have been married for 37 years. Originally from Palestine, they immigrated to America and built a strong foundation for their family, raising five children and celebrating five grandchildren. They have always carried their Palestinian heritage with pride, passing down its traditions, values, and sense of community to the next generations.

Ali is a businessman who owns several gas stations and spends his free time at the gym, while Afaf has devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother. Her role has been central to the family’s success, highlighting the importance of nurturing, stability, and the unseen work that holds a household together.

Sean and Lawzieh Sedlmayr have been married for seven years and have three beautiful daughters together. Layla, 5 1/2, enjoys Kindergarten, loves to craft, read and play gymnastics. Amelia, 4, loves to dress up in princess costumes, play outside, learn at preschool and follow in her big sister’s footsteps. Emma, 2 1/2, loves to watch and sing along with Ms. Rachel, be read to, climb and swing on her gymnastics bar and also follow whatever her big sisters are doing!

Sean is an accountant for a local family accounting firm, for 14 years now. He enjoys doing anything outdoors, going to the lake and spending time with his girls.

Lawzieh is Mohammed’s oldest sister. She has been an elementary school teacher for 11 years for the Parkway School District. Having taught first grade and kindergarten, she now is a Multilingual teacher at the elementary level. She enjoys cooking, working out, shopping and spending time with her girls.

Yasser and Hadeal have been married for seven years and are the proud parents of Gigi, 3, and Talia, 6 months.

Yasser is Mohammad’s oldest brother and a District Leader for CVS Pharmacy, working in the pharmacy world since 2014. His hobbies include rock climbing, working out, and rough-housing with the kids.

Hadeal is a first-grade teacher who has been teaching since 2017. She loves reading, getting everyone to their playdates on time, and going out with her friends whenever she can.

Gigi’s hobbies include gymnastics, playing make-believe, painting, and placing tiaras on baby Talia, who happily accepts her royal status.

They’re a laid-back, loving family excited to celebrate with everyone.

Iman Rasheed is Mohammad’s youngest sister. She is a registered dietitian who works within retirement homes, supporting residents through nutrition and care. Outside of her professional role, she runs a small event-decorating business and will be bringing her creativity to the Rasheed–Frank wedding as the lead decorator. In her free time, Iman loves spending time with her nieces, trying new coffee recipes, and working out—she even attends Miza’s Monday night classes at Lifetime!

Ameer Rasheed is Mohammad’s youngest brother. He is a high-school senior and the youngest of the Rasheed family. A dedicated student-athlete, he plays lacrosse and hopes to continue the sport at the college level while pursuing his goal of becoming an orthodontist. Outside of school and sports, Ameer enjoys playing video games and spending time with his friends.
