Sometimes, love takes its time—and sometimes, it just needs the right place.

Our journey started in Charlotte, North Carolina, when Molly was nannying for a family who had just moved from Austin, Texas. While she was in town, we met the modern way—on a dating app. Our first date was at a little spot called Workman’s Friend, where we immediately hit it off. But life had other plans, and when Molly returned to Texas, we stayed in touch as friends for a couple of years.

Eventually, Molly decided it was time for a change. She loved Charlotte, had built great friendships there, and made the leap to move. And as fate would have it, that’s when we reconnected in a whole new way. What started as a friendship quickly turned into something much more, and soon enough, we knew—this was it.

Now, after all the twists and turns that led us here, we can’t wait to say “I do” and celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
