Logan is a major international airport and your best chance for a direct flight! Just over an hour drive from Portsmouth, NH. There will be plenty of rental car options, but we also recommend taking the bus! C&J Bus Service provides pick-up and drop-off services at all Logan terminals and will take you straight to Portsmouth with one stop in Seabrook along the way. From the bus station it's a quick Uber to downtown.
Just under an hour drive from Portsmouth, the Manchester airport is the closest option. It's a smaller regional airport that is easy to navigate but usually requires a connecting flight depending on where you're coming from! It's best to plan to rent a car if flying into Manchester.
Just about an hour from Portsmouth, the Portland Airport is a great option if you're looking to explore Southern Maine! Portland, Maine is another beautiful coastal city with tons of great bars, breweries, restaurants and shops to explore along the coast of Maine. We recommend renting a car and taking the scenic route through coastal Maine into Portsmouth!
