Fun Facts

* Molly's engagement ring is a family heirloom. Her grandfather Jacob bought it for her grandmother Jacob. They were married in 1951.

* Molly and Jordan will share a wedding date with Molly's parents. July 10th, 2021 will be Tom and Cindy Jacob's 39th wedding anniversary.

* Jordan celebrated both his undergrad and law school graduations at the Williamsburg Inn.

* The Williamsburg Inn is the only place in America where Queen Elizabeth has lodged twice (Molly loves Queen Elizabeth!). Other notable guests of the Inn include more historical favorites of Molly and Jordan like Eisenhower, Churchill, Bush, Reagan, and Thatcher!

* The Wren Building was chartered on February 8, 1693 by King William III and Queen Mary II of England. The crests of England and Scotland are shown in the Chapel. Jefferson sat in the very pews guests will sit in when he was a student at William and Mary. Later, Jordan would attend classes in the building. The Wren Building is the oldest college building still standing in the United States.

* We have meaning behind all of our flowers! Hydrangeas are Molly's favorite flower along with Jordan's grandmother's favorite flower. Magnolia leaves will represent the trees that Jordan and Molly both had in their front yard growing up. Cotton blossoms will represent Molly's family farm on the Eastern Shore of Virginia (along with the Oyster Shells that you will see!).
