Where every student in the Tidewater area attended at least one field trip . Here, you will be able to explore and walk around the first English settlement in North America. Be sure to take the beautiful Colonial Parkway if you visit. Jamestown is only about a 20-25 minute drive away from Williamsburg.
Yorktown is the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon. You can explore the battlefields, the American Revolution Museum, and even take a stroll along the beach. This is the site of the Siege of Yorktown, where the British under Lord Cornwallis surrendered to General George Washington's Army. Yorktown is about a 20-25 minutes drive away from Williamsburg via the Colonial Parkway
One of the largest maritime museums in North America! While here, bring hiking shoes! Molly's favorite hike back home is the Noland Trail, which is a 5 mile hike that follows the shoreline of The Mariners' Lake. Molly spent time conditioning for high school sports on this trail, running on this trail, and walking this trail with family and friends.
