It was January 2nd, 2016 and Molly and her girlfriends were out celebrating the New Year. That night, Molly saw Tim and his friend walk into the bar and decided to try something new - approach the guy instead of waiting and hoping he would approach her. After a terrible opening line that had something to do with Adele, Tim and his friend still decided to entertain conversation. Tim and Molly connected instantly. After that night they made first date plans and had the best.first.date.ever! That's a whole other story that involves starting at an Art Museum and ending the night dancing at a gay bar!

Things became complicated when Molly accepted a job offer in her dream city of Chicago. Even though they just met, they weren't quite ready to say goodbye to each other. This lead to countless flights, long weekends and almost daily FaceTime calls. Leaving each other after the weekends together never got easier, but every conversation and every minute spent together rooted them deeper in their relationship. They knew that if they could overcome two years of long distance, after only knowing each other for a few weeks, they could handle anything.

Molly finally moved back to Denver in early 2018 and since then they have bought a house (come visit!) and are now engaged! They are so happy and so excited to be husband and wife and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone on the 21st night of September (insert Earth, Wind and Fire song here)!
