We are so excited to celebrate our big day with all of you! The church ceremony is open to all—everyone is welcome to join us as we say “I do.” The reception, however, has limited seating, and we are only able to accommodate a set number of guests. Invitations to the reception are addressed individually, and families have been categorized accordingly in the RSVP form. Please note: The reception will be an adult-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off! Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate this special day with those closest to us.

Our Story

It all started way back in high school (2013–2016). They were in the same class, walked the same halls, shared the same teachers… and never spoke a word to each other. True story. They were basically strangers sitting a few feet apart for years. Fast forward past military service and life doing its thing—2019 came around. They both ended up at the same party hosted by a mutual friend. Did sparks fly? Not quite. In fact, they still didn’t talk. But destiny had a sense of humor.

In 2020, the real magic began—with a Vipps request. Out of the blue, she received a 10 kr request for a kebab he apparently bought. It was bold. Persistent, even. These small, slightly annoying requests continued for months, and not a single krone was paid back. Eventually, probably out of guilt (or curiosity), they started going on hikes and hanging out that summer. Something clicked. And by 2021, they were officially a couple. But life wasn’t ready to make it easy. They did the long-distance thing, her in Trondheim, him in Hamar. Somehow, between video calls and weekend meetups, they made it work.

In 2022, he finally moved to Trondheim, just in time to support her through her master’s degree—which she finished in 2023. That same year, they bought their first apartment together and celebrated by taking his first trip to Asia—exploring Singapore and the Philippines hand in hand.

And then came the surprise of all surprises.He had a proposal plan set for 2025, but love (and impulse) had other ideas. On November 14, 2024, right after buying the ring, fate threw them together at a random bus stop after work. She asked what he was doing in the city—he claimed he was shopping for Christmas gifts (which for once, wasn’t a lie… kind of). They had dinner that night—pre-planned, no suspicions. She even questioned him about the gifts. Meanwhile, he sat there with the ring in his pocket, trying to act cool. Back at home, she rushed to the bathroom. When she came out, he was dancing around the living room, shaking his booty like nothing was up. She laughed, joined him—and then he dropped to one knee. Her first response? "No." (We had a plan: work, dinner, game night. This was clearly a prank, right?) But then she saw the ring. And her answer changed to the one that mattered: Yes!

And now here we are—ready to dance into the next chapter of our lives. Together.

From Værnes Airport to the Trondheim you could either take the train or bus to Trondheim S. However, trian (R70) only goes once every hour. Tickets can be bought at <a href="https://www.vy.no/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.vy.no/</a> or by using the Atb mobile app. If using AtB app be sure to buy tickets for the train not the bus. If you want to take the bus, you could use Værnesexpressen (<a href="https://en.vaernesekspressen.no/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://en.vaernesekspressen.no/</a>) to purchase your ticket. This bus can be found right outside the luggage hall and comes every 15 min. Its cheaper if you buy your tickets online compared to buying it on the bus terminal.

Rockheim is part of the Norwegian Museum of Music – which consists of Rockheim and Ringve.Rockheim’s permanent exhibition on the 6th floor is a journey through modern Norwegian musical and cultural history. In these exhibits you operate the playback of sounds, images, and music videos, and thus creating your own stories and experiences.

What you see today was erected from the ashes of an old shipyard (once one of Norway’s biggest ship building companies), and is now one of the most popular areas in the city. Solsiden is a local staple and is always buzzing with good vibes. It’s THE place to go if you want to take in the jovial energy of locals and enjoy the afternoon sun with a tasty delight on an outdoor terrace.
