When are RSVPs due?
Please RSVP on our website no later than October 1, 2024, so we can have an accurate headcount and account for dietary restrictions. If you aren't able to RSVP online but want to come, please call or text us!
What should I wear?
Our ceremony and reception will be formal attire, but not black tie. Picture cocktail dresses, midi dresses, and suits!
Can I bring a date?
We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest. Due to venue capacity, the guest list is limited to those specifically named on the invitations. If you have questions regarding invited guests, please reach out. Thank you for your understanding!
Where can I park?
The Palmer House offers valet parking at the Monroe Street entrance. For guests that are coming the day of the wedding, the cost is $32 for 8 hours. For guests who are staying at the Palmer House and decide to valet their car overnight, the cost is $78 for overnight valet parking. Self-parking is available up the street at 55 East Monroe Street for $54. We also recommend downloading the Spothero app on your phone to find and pre-pay for a reduced rate parking spot.
When should I arrive on the wedding day?
Our ceremony will start at 5:30 PM. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to ensure everyone is seated on time.
How will seating work?
The ceremony will have open seating, so please choose a seat. There is no "bride's side" or "groom's side." Our only request is that the first two rows remain reserved for immediate family members.
Table seating for the reception will be carefully pre-arranged with each guest in mind, so please refer to the place setting cards to find your seat for the reception.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We are asking that all phones be put away and turned to silent (or off) for the duration for our ceremony. After the ceremony, photos and videos are strongly encouraged!
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the immediate family along with some extended family will be taking photos at the venue. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes! There will be a plated dinner around 7 PM, shortly after the reception begins. There will also be an open bar with beer, wine, and select cocktails from 6 PM to midnight. And of course, there will be cake!
Do you have a hotel block?
Yes! We have reserved special rates at our venue, The Palmer House. See the Travel page for more info & details on how to get our special rate by October 9, 2024! NOTE: The block reservation deadline has been extended to October 15, 2024!
Can I bring my kids?
While we love all of your little ones, we are limiting guests to those listed on the invitation due to venue restrictions. We hope to celebrate with the rest of your families soon!
Where is the couple registered?
We are registered through Amazon and Crate & Barrel. The registries can be accessed by clicking on the Registry tab at the top of this page. Many of you will travel long distances to share our wedding day with us, so please do not feel obliged to get us anything else.
