Getting In

If you are flying, we recommend flying into either O'Hare International Airport (ORD) or Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW).

Getting to the City

There are a lot of ways to get downtown! Both airports have car rental options, and Lyft and Uber are available as well. There is also the option of taking the train (the Chicago "L"), which costs $2.50 and goes directly from the airport to a few blocks away from the hotel. From O'Hare Airport, take the Blue Line towards Forest Park from the O'Hare stop to the Monroe stop. From Midway Airport, take the Orange Line towards the Loop from the Midway stop to the Adams/Wabash stop.

Friends and family from out of state:

We reserved a hotel block at our venue so you can enjoy your night thoroughly without worrying about travel. The block rate is $179 per night. If you are interested in staying longer in Chicago than the block rate allows, please let us know as we may be able to extend the rate to include additional nights. Please make your reservation by October 9, 2024 at https://book.passkey.com/event/50755565/owner/1455/home. NOTE: The block reservation deadline has been extended to October 15, 2024!

Friends and family from the area:

If you can, we suggest carpooling with other invited guests, Ubering or Lyfting, or having a designated driver for the night of our event. We want to make sure everyone attending has a safe way to get to and from our ceremony and reception!

As our hotel block will have a limited amount of room, we are trying to prioritize guests who would not be able to travel back home after the reception in a timely manner. If you live less than an hour from the reception venue and still would like a hotel room for the night, please contact us before booking!

Where to Park

If you are driving in and staying at the Palmer House, the hotel offers valet parking at the Monroe Street entrance. For guests that are coming the day of the wedding, the cost is $32 for 8 hours. For guests who are staying at the Palmer House and decide to valet their car overnight, the cost is $78 for overnight valet parking. Self-parking is available up the street at 55 East Monroe Street for $54. We also recommend downloading the Spothero app on your phone to find and pre-pay for a reduced rate parking spot.
