Getting Your Passport

Typically it takes around 3 months to receive your passport! Peru requires that your passport have at least 6 MONTHS OF VALIDITY at the time of entry. In other words, if your passport will expire in less than six months from the time you are supposed to enter Peru, you won't be allowed to enter the country.

Machu Picchu 

RSVP and 50% Deposit Deadline: February 10, 2025. To book, we need (1) a $170 deposit and (2) a legible photo of your passport. The second payment of $180 (for a total of $350) is due October 1, 2025. Click on the "Machu Picchu" tab for more info. Text or call Monica or Trent if you have any issues.

Wedding Hotel Booking 

We will have a room block in the Sonesta hotel for the nights of October 16th &amp; 17th. Rooms must be fully paid for by AUGUST 16, 2025. Click on "Travel" tab for more info and how to book!

Wedding RSVP Deadline

One of our favorite areas to explore in Cusco. In the Plaza de Armas, you will find local Peruvian cuisine, shopping, bars, and much more! Our welcome party will be held at a bar in the Plaza de Armas, so you won't miss this sight!

Plaza De Armas 

Pisco is the Peruvian liquor of choice. Visit Museo del Pisco to learn about the origin of pisco and buy a bottle (or two or three?) for your trip back home!

MUSEO DEL PISCO - CUSCO

This is an open-air market somewhat near the Plaza de Armas. Reminder to bring cash if you are wanting to buy any souvenirs!

Fun going-out bar that has live music most nights. Located a block from the Plaza de Armas!

Republica Del Pisco - Cusco

Probably Monica's favorite part of going to Cusco. If you tip a few "soles" (the Peruvian currency) to the ladies with alpacas, they will let you take a selfie &lt;3

Qorikancha or Coricancha ("The Golden Temple")&nbsp;dates back to around 1200 AD. It was an important religious and cultural temple during the times of the Inca. However, when the Spanish arrived, they destroyed most of it and built a cathedral in its place. Today, it's one of the main tourist destinations in Cusco, where visitors can see a mix of Incan and Spanish architecture.
