One huge cost saver when it comes to transportation from the airport to your hotel/our wedding venue is to use Chicago's public transportation system. You can easily board either the Orange Line (at Midway Airport) or the Blue Line (at O'Hare Airport) and they will bring you directly to the city without sitting through traffic. To break down the cost comparison, one train ride into the city costs about $2.50 per passenger, while an uber can cost around $50 a ride. So if you're looking for an easy way to save a little money on your trip, we would reccommend the train.

From Midway Airport:

Locate the Train Station: Follow the signs in the airport to the Midway train station, which is connected to the airport.

Purchase a Ventra Card: You can buy a Ventra Card from vending machines at the station. Load it with enough fare for your trip.

Board the Orange Line: Take the Orange Line train heading toward the Loop (the direction is usually indicated on the train schedule).

From O'Hare Airport

Locate the Train Station: Follow signs to the O'Hare station, which is located in the airport.

Purchase a Ventra Card: Buy a Ventra Card from the vending machines at the station.

Board the Blue Line: Take the Blue Line train toward Forest Park.

Arrive: You will get off the train at Clark/Lake where you can either walk to your hotel or take a quick Uber.
