When traveling to Colombia, all international travelers are required to complete the Check-Mig immigration form before arrival and departure. This form streamlines immigration processing and ensures compliance with Colombian entry and exit requirements. Below is a step-by-step guide to completing the form.
This form can be filled out up to 72 hours before your flight and must be done before check-in. To fill out the form you will need the address of where you're staying, your international flight info, local contact info (hotel or local hosts' phone number), and your passport information.
You MUST complete this form when entering and exiting the country.
WHERE TO STAY IN CARTAGENA
Cartagena is divided into two main areas: the Walled City and Bocagrande. The Walled City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is where all wedding events will take place. We highly recommend staying in this area, as it is completely walkable, eliminating the need for taxis or additional transportation.
In contrast, Bocagrande is Cartagena’s modern business district, where most large American-brand hotels are located. However, it is not a walkable area and is approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the wedding venues. For convenience and to fully experience the charm of Cartagena, we encourage guests to stay within the Walled City.
