If able, we recommend arriving on Thursday to prepare for the weekend's events! We do not have anything scheduled for wedding guests but would love to gather and spend time with friends as they arrive.
6:00 pm - Cocktail Hour and Welcome Dinner
Please join us at Casa Estrella at 6:00 pm for cocktail hour with live music and a seated dinner.
DRESS CODE: TROPICAL SEMI-FORMAL
Think light, breathable fabrics that you would wear to a nice dinner at the beach.
Gentlemen – Linen or lightweight trousers paired with a breezy button-down shirt. Loafers or stylish sandals complete the look. Ties and jackets are not required.
Ladies – Flowing dresses, chic two-piece sets, or elegant jumpsuits in airy fabrics.
Weather: April in Cartagena is warm and humid, with temperatures averaging 80–85°F (27–30°C) in the evening. Lightweight fabrics and breathable materials will keep you cool and comfortable.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM in the gardens of San Pedro Claver Church. As the ceremony will be held outdoors, jackets are not expected during this time.
Following the ceremony, guests will walk in a guided processional to Casa Estrella for the cocktail hour. The reception venue is just a 5-minute walk from the church, and you will be escorted as a group to ensure a smooth transition.
DRESS CODE: TROPICAL FORMAL
Ladies – Floor-length dresses are requested for all female guests. Shoulders do not need to be covered. Flowy fabrics, bold colors, and tropical prints are welcome and encouraged! Comfortable yet elegant footwear is recommended, the streets are cobblestone, and guests are invited to walk with the bride and groom to the reception.
Gentlemen – Lightweight suits or linen trousers with a dress shirt. Ties are optional, but a polished look is encouraged. Given the outdoor setting, jackets may be removed for comfort.
