Morgan and Spencer met on a blind date in October of 2022. Morgan's friend (Maggie) and Spencer's friend (Gina) randomly discussed people they wanted to setup. We are so grateful that they had that conversation & had the two of us in mind! Two weeks later, we had our first date.

We began hanging out consistently, and it was soon evident that there was something special between us. The Highway 280 commute was difficult though, so Spencer decided to move into a rental near Morgan in April. Now being walking distance from each other, we became inseparable. We had the (almost) daily luxury of cooking dinner together, going on walks, and just sitting on the porch talking in the evenings. This further grew our relationship and confirmed our strong feelings for each other. Doing life together was just more fun!

On August 12, 2023, Spencer asked Morgan to marry him. It was her easiest yes! We are so excited to begin our lives as an engaged couple, and we can't wait to get married surrounded by all of our loved ones!

Morgan's grandparents, Ghee Ghee & Papa, bought a house on Lake Toxaway in 1993. Ever since then, the Escue/Bishop family has made countless fun memories there. Spencer has experienced Lake Toxaway a few times now, and he quickly realized why we love it so much.

Being able to have our wedding weekend at Lake Toxaway is a dream come true. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with family & friends in such a special place to us!
