Welcome to Our Wedding Website! We are so excited to invite you to celebrate our special day alongside our wonderful daughters, Ruby and Marigold, and all of our beloved family and friends. Our wedding will take place on beautiful Shaw Island in the San Juan Islands—a place that is deeply special to us and one of the most breathtaking spots on earth. Our wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday early afternoon, but we’ll be on the island all weekend, and we hope you’ll join us for any or all of the festivities! Weekend ItineraryFriday, June 6th:Afternoon:Join us at the Shaw Island Campground to hang at the beach and BBQ. Davin and Morgan will provide burgers and hotdogs. Guests are encouraged to bring side dish to share. BYOB Evening:We’ll gather at Davin’s parents’ house for a bonfire. BYOB Saturday, June 7th:Morning:The timing of the day is completely dependent upon the ferry schedule! On Saturday, there is a 10am out of Anacortes, arriving at Shaw at 11:20am - giving folks some time between arriving on the island and the ceremony. Options: (Check out the Things To Do section for details):- Stop by Captain's Taproom after you get off the ferry for a beer- Come out to the Neck Point Pool for a swim- Take a hike or go to the Shaw Island Campground beach- Just relax around Davin’s parent’s house where you can mingle and walk to the beach (anytime after 1pm). Afternoon:Wedding Ceremony and Celebration! Drinks and dinner provided! Sunday, June 8th:Morning:Wrap up the weekend with a casual breakfast at Davin’s parents’ house or take a dip in the pool before catching your ferry home. Come by anytime! Breakfast provided. Things to Know:Accommodations:Visit the Getting to Shaw Island section of our site for details about camping and other lodging options near the wedding location.   Weather: June can bring unpredictable weather—come prepared. The wedding will take place rain or shine!   Travel:Getting to and from the islands can be tricky, especially during the summer season. Be sure to check the WA State Ferry Sailing Schedule (Spring: March 23 - June 14) for Anacortes to Shaw island. On Saturday, there are limited sailings leaving Anacortes. The one to catch would be the 10:00am and arriving to Shaw at 11:20am. Reservations to book for June opened up on Jan. 29th. We’ve booked several car reservations for Friday, June 6 and the morning of Saturday, June 7; however, please try to book your own reservation first. If you can’t get one, let us know! Consider carpooling if you can, because Shaw Island is the smallest of the islands, there is a limited number of cars allowed on any one sailing from Anacortes. Tip! Download the WSDOT App for ease of accessing reservation system, ferry announcements, vessel watch, etc. Option to park in Anacortes and walk on ferry (no reservations needed for walk on). We will have transportation to take folks to wedding venue and return folks at Shaw Island ferry terminal. Important Note: there are NO reservations available to go off of Shaw back to the mainland, cars leave Shaw on a first come first serve basis. Each sailing offers 9-13 cars from Shaw. If you plan to leave on Sunday, please consider getting to terminal a couple of hours before sailing! In your RSVP there will be a spot to tell us about your ferry plans so we can help!

Bring Your Own Boat

Option to fly from Seattle to the islands. <a href="https://kenmoreair.com/seaplanes/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kenmore Air </a>will fly to the dock outside of Davin's folk's house through a charter booking.

Option to rent a room on Orcas Island at the Orcas Hotel, which is walking distance from ferry landing. If you did this option, you could plan to take inner island ferry to and from Shaw. Check out website for all details - if you like this option, try to reserve soon. The hotel only has 10 rooms.

Option to book hotel or other accommodation in Friday Harbor, many of which are walking distance from ferry landing. If you did this option, you could plan to take inner island ferry to and from Shaw.

Friday Harbor 

Choose an Airbnb or VRBO on Orcas or another surrounding island and take the inner island ferry to Shaw.

Vacation Rental

We plan to book as many individual sites as possible, plus large group site, as soon as the reservations open, which is around the first week of March at the <a href="https://www.sanjuancountywa.gov/523/Shaw-Island" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Shaw Island Campground</a>. Check out the website to see what spot you like and note the rules about how many tents, cars allowed, etc. In your RSVP there will be a spot to tell us if you want to camp here and we’ll do our best to put your name in a spot.

Option to camp at Davin’s folk’s house. Room for about 5 small tents behind house. Location includes rugged areas for tents and shared BBQ. Bring your cooler and supplies. Plan to drop gear off and then park car at boat launch or pool. Minimal access inside house. Short walk to porta potty. In your RSVP there will be a spot to tell us if you’d like to camp here

Getting to Shaw Island

There is a community pool at Neck Point where Davins folks live. Come swim on Saturday and/or Sunday. Kids welcome! Bring snacks and BYOB (no glass)

Come BBQ with us on Friday anytime in the afternoon at the Shaw Island Campground. Set up your camp if youre camping and play at the beach. Well head back to Davins folks house later in evening for a fire. Kids welcome! Dogs are allowed at campground on leash. We’ll provide burgers and dogs. Bring a snack if you can and BYOB

Check out the General Store for last minute provisions, an espresso, ice cream, or to bric-a-brac. Open Daily.

Grab a beer at the Captains Taproom located next to the General Store. On Saturday, they’ll be open at 11:30 for when folks get off the ferry. Must be 21+
