Morgan and Tristan were High School rivals, although they met while attending college in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Tristan attended the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse where he studied to become a teacher, and Morgan attended Viterbo University as a Nursing Student. To many, the spring of 2020 was filled with many social and unfavorable restrictions. Tristan and Morgan embraced these challenging times and began dating in May of 2020.

Fast forward to 2022, Tristan graduated college and moved back to his hometown area of Madison, Wisconsin. Morgan was still finishing Nursing School, so Tristan spent many of his weekends traveling back-and-forth to La Crosse. In December of 2022, Morgan and Tristan moved into their first apartment and got their first dog named Winston.

In October 2024, Tristan booked a spontaneous trip to Bailey's Harbor, Door County where he asked Morgan to be his forever. They have chosen to say their vows on June, 19, 2026, over 6 years after meeting each other.
