Q: Where is Capri, and how do I get there?

A: Capri is an island in southern Italy, located in the Bay of Naples. To get there, fly direct from the U.S. to Rome (FCO) or Naples International Airport (NAP). If you choose to fly to Rome, take the express train to Naples. From Naples, take a ferry or hydrofoil from the Molo Beverello or Calata di Massa ports to Capri. The ferry ride typically takes 40-60 minutes.


Q: Do I need a visa to travel to Italy?

A: U.S. citizens can enter Italy for tourism purposes without a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.


Q: What is the wedding day schedule?

A: The ceremony will take place at La Zagara at 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 10th followed by a cocktail hour and reception also at La Zagara. Transportation details will be provided closer to the date.


Q: Are there any group activities planned?

A: Yes! We’ll be hosting a welcome dinner on July 9th at La Capannina in Capri's town center and a group beach party at Bagni Tiberio Beach Club on July 11th. Details can be found on our website.


Q: Is there a dress code?

A: Yes, the dress code is semi-formal summer attire. Think light fabrics and elegant outfits suitable for an Italian island setting. Flat or wedge shoes are recommended due to the cobblestone streets.


Q: What can I do during my free time in Capri?

A: Capri is known for its stunning views, charming streets, and natural beauty. Popular activities include:


-Visiting the Blue Grotto

A: Absolutely. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll ensure your needs are accommodated.

A: This depends on your accommodation. Many hotels in Capri offer breakfast. Other meals will be at your discretion, except for the wedding events, where food and drinks are provided.

A: Italy uses the Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, but carrying some cash for small purchases is advisable.
