The island of Capri is made up of two main towns: Capri and Anacapri. Though they’re close, getting from one to the other requires a short bus or taxi ride. Capri is the island’s livelier town, known for its bustling streets, luxury shopping, and vibrant nightlife. In contrast, Anacapri offers a slower pace of life, with charming, walkable streets and a more relaxed atmosphere. Capri is closer to the water, offering stunning sea views, while Anacapri sits slightly higher up on the island, providing equally breathtaking panoramic vistas of the coast and surrounding landscape. No matter where you stay, the whole island boasts beautiful views at every turn.

Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at La Zagara in Anacapri. While the wedding will be in Anacapri, we want everyone to feel free to stay wherever they feel most comfortable. If you prefer a livelier setting, the town of Capri is just a 10-minute taxi ride away. The welcome party and day-after celebration will be held closer to Capri, so you’ll have the best of both worlds: a tranquil wedding in Anacapri and the excitement of Capri for our other events.
