The Old Rancho - Carlsbad, CA. The ceremony and reception will be held outside at the same location. While there is fair tree/ shade coverage at the venue, please plan accordingly for a wedding in August in So Cal!

Weather Underground predicts typical August weather to range from 63F to 80F with an average of 72F. We recommend looking at weather as it gets closer to plan accordingly.

Garden Party Semi Formal - opt for light weight fabrics, brighter colors and prints. For gentleman, jacket/blazer recommended; tie optional. The venue includes stairs, a mix of turf grass and stone pavers - stilletos may not be your preferred option here! You may want to bring a comfortable pair of shoes/ sandals for the reception.

While the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm, we invite guests to join us for a welcome drink to kick off festivities at 3:30pm in the courtyard.

Unfortunately, as much as we'd love to invite all of our family and friends' children, we can only accommodate children of our immediate family. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Yes. At The Old Rancho there is a small parking lot. Parking is complementary and cars may be left overnight if needed.

The venue is centrally located in Carlsbad, CA and can be easily accessible via Uber, Lyft, rideshare or car for those that wish to drive. There will be shuttle transportation at the end of the night for guests wishing to continue to the afterparty in Carlsbad Village with the bride and groom.

Unfortunately at this time, The Old Rancho is not ADA Accessible. There are stairs, a small ramp to navigate between ceremony/ reception spaces.
