The Story of Morgan and Jahan
In August 2021, Jahan Wilcox was in Indianapolis for a political meeting and matched with Morgan Pearson. Jahan extended his trip by one day, and the two met at Bakersfield in the afternoon.
Later that month, Jahan came back to Indianapolis, and then Morgan came to Washington, D.C. Later that year, Morgan won a trip to Napa Valley, and the two went to California before celebrating Morgan's birthday in Washington.
After numerous trips between Indiana and Washington, the two decided to head to Europe for Memorial Day 2022. For Morgan, it was her first time crossing the pond and she was so excited she watched the monitor tracking the plane for the entire flight.
In London, they got a private tour of Parliament and saw Buckingham Palace and Abbey Road. They then went to Paris for a day and took the train that went under the English Channel.
In 2022, Morgan made her first trip to Minnesota, where she saw the Minnesota State Fair, a Twins game at Target Field, and even purchased her first new car at the Subaru dealership in the Twin Cities.
After months of being told a discussion about a ring could occur in the Summer of 2023, Jahan took Morgan to the Bahamas and surprised her with a ring on February 2, 2023. Remarkably, all of Morgan's friends and her 89-year-old Grandma were able to keep the secret. In fact, Grandma Gloria still likes to remind Morgan that she saw the ring first.
In the Spring of 2023, Morgan joined the Wilcox family for their annual trip to Florida. This was the second time Morgan had gone, and both times she and Jahan had treated the nephews and nieces to a day at Walt Disney World and Epcot.
Now, we are preparing for a wedding on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky, where we hope you can attend and celebrate with us.
