We have a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites Downtown Louisville. The Omni and the Marriott hotels would not provide a block of rooms but are also an excellent selection.
Get your points; Louisville has a very tiny footprint, as every hotel is within two blocks of each other.
The Louisville Downtown Embassy Suites was the only hotel we could secure a block of rooms. It's located in a historic building. The nightly wedding rate is $179 a night.

The Omni is within walking distance of St. Boniface Church and the Muhammad Ali Center. We were unable to secure a block of rooms at this hotel, but rooms are available for $225 a night.
The Louisville Marriott is within walking distance of St. Boniface Church and the Muhammad Ali Center. Because of the PGA Championship, they claimed to be sold out when we asked for a block of rooms, but a few rooms still exist online at $250 a night.

There are two non-stop Delta flights from Minneapolis, three non-stop American Airlines flights from Reagan National, and nonstop flights from Chicago, Baltimore, and Washington Dulles.
Renting a car is not necessary as the welcoming reception, ceremony, and reception are within a few miles of each other.
