Morgan and Leo crossed paths in Provo, Utah. Morgan moved from Tennessee for an aircraft mechanic position and Leo moved from Alaska for an avionics job at the same company. Morgan claims that she made first contact by making up some kind of excuse to go flirt with the avionics guy, Leo. On the other hand, Leo claims that he made a clever joke while working on one of Morgan’s aircraft and that’s where the romance began. One way or the other, these two from opposite ends of the country met more or less in the middle during the summer of 2023 and that was where love began.

Their first date was one of many adventures to come. They made a 4-hour round trip to see the Salt Flats, Asher (the dog) on-board, they talked about everything from A to Z, and finished the evening with dinner at their (now) favorite spot, Whiskey Street. From there, the summer adventures continued. They pretty quickly became an official item. They spent the rest of the summer road tripping, hiking, paddling, flying, and of course falling in love.

Summer turned to winter, warm adventures on mountains and motorcycles became snowy days on the slopes and cozy nights at home. They began to meet each other’s families and friends; their lives grew intertwined with one another. The following summer of 2024, this couple went for a drive up a mountain known as West Mountain and amongst the beautiful view, Leo proposed, asking Morgan to do him the great honor of becoming his wife. She said yes.
