What is semi-formal? Semi-formal usually implies long dresses, suits with or without jackets, and ties or bows. For this fall event, we're picturing clothes with ribbing, florals, velvets, silks, and/or linens. Fall colors include brown, black, taupe, orange, yellow, burgundy, maroon, and purple. Sweaters and/or jackets are recommended for layering. We would never make anyone wear a dress if they feel uncomfortable—so, do not feel like you have to. You could do a nice sweater and nice pants. Consider wearing nice, but comfortable shoes.
