Morgen and David first crossed paths in fall of 2020 at Oklahoma State University through their campus ministry, Reformed University Fellowship. As they spent many afternoons studying with friends at coffee shops around Stillwater, what began as a simple friendship blossomed into more.

On November 19 at Tumbleweed Dance Hall, as they two-stepped to Tyler Childers, David mustered up the courage to ask out Morgen on a breakfast date the next day. Needless to say, things went well and there were many more dates to come!



They started their long-distance chapter when Morgen moved to Dallas in February 2022, as David remained in Oklahoma to complete his degree in ranch management. Over the past four years, they've shared countless memories: from country concerts and OSU football games to outdoor adventures and, of course, more two-stepping.


David’s sentimental proposal to Morgen on March 22 took place at the very same gazebo where his dad proposed to his mom. Morgen and David are thrilled for their future together and are so excited for the big day!
