If you received a plus one, they would be named on the envelope of your invite. We would love to keep our wedding an intimate event with close friends and family. Please do not bring additional guests who are not listed on your invite.

For the wedding, our dress code is semi-formal. We'll be outdoors for the ceremony, and the ground is soft, so keep this in mind! *Please refer to the dress code page on the website for more details on colors and attire for the other events. We ask that you do your best to adhere to the color schemes.

There will not be a formal rehearsal dinner, however, after the welcome party, we ask that those included in the ceremony processional stay back, so we can briefly run over the ceremony logistics. This will not take long. Ceremony processional includes: officiant, bride & groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, parents of the groom and parents of the bride.

Transportation will be provided for guests staying at the following hotels on August 8: The Albatroz Hotel, Grande Real Villa Italia, Villa Vasco da Gama and Casa Vela Hotel. Pick up time will be 3:00 p.m. For guests not taking the provided transportation, we highly recommend Ubering to the venue instead of driving yourself, as the roads in Sintra are quite windy and street parking is extremely limited.

The ceremony will be promptly starting at 4:30 p.m. We recommend guests arrive at 4:00 p.m. at the latest to find a seat and mingle beforehand. If you are late, our wedding planner will let you know if we are still allowing guests in, or if you need to wait until the ceremony is over. This avoids distractions for not only other guests who arrived on time, but also the bride and groom. Thank you for understanding. *Don't be late!

Yes, we will be having an unplugged ceremony. We have an amazing photography and videography team who will be capturing the moment for us, so please turn your devices off and refrain from taking and photos and videos during the ceremony.

The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please. For the dinner reception, guests will be seated according to a seating chart.
