Where is the wedding located?
We have decided to have the wedding where we got engaged which is near Nabila's, families home in Wales. We love the Welsh countryside and feel like this is just the perfect place for us to get married.
Do I need a Visa to enter the UK?
Yes, all American’s and non British Residents will require an ETA (electronic travel authorisation). Please ensure you check your countries requirements with plenty of time before you travel.

Transport Options?
There are many airports and ways to fly into the UK, the main ones would be Heathrow, Gatwick, some will have the option to fly to Birmingham with around a 3 hours train then to town. There are options for more local flights that will be into Cardiff. From London it is roughly a 4/5 hour drive if you decide to rent a car, and its 6 hours to take the train to Aberystwyth from London as well, which is the main town and we would recommend that you stay.
Another option to explore is flying in Dublin, Ireland and then take a ferry over to Wales, followed by a 2 hour drive up to the town.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for both days is formal attire. The Friday night will have some traditional Indian ceremonies involved, and be a fun evening. Indian outfits are encouraged but not required, if you would like too wear them, but mainly just ensure you are comfortable. For the main wedding day you are also welcome to attend in traditional outfits or any other formal attire.
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?
The hope is to be able to have the ceremony outside, followed by the reception in the barn. But Wales can be very unpredictable so we will have a back plan in case it rains. The Friday night will be between outside and indoors as well.
What will be happening on each day?
On Friday the 6th of June we will be having the traditional Mehndi party, which will be a relaxed evening with dinner served, and some entertainment, starting in the evening.
On Saturday the 7th of June we will have the wedding ceremony in the afternoon which will be a combined culture ceremony, followed by the reception.
Can we take photos during the Ceremony?
We have decided to have an unplugged ceremony, so that everyone is able to be present in the moment and enjoy it. We will have a fabulous photographer on both days who will be taking plenty of pictures so you will be sent those.
The rest of the event you are more than welcome to take photos and videos!
