This is a very old cathedral in central London. It survived the blitz during the Second World War and was a symbol of hope for people in Britain. If you can make it to the roof, the view of London is stunning.
You have probably heard of this one! The architecture is amazing and it is close to several parks and famous buildings. We recommend walking along the Mall (the road in front of the Palace).
This is our favourite place to get a hot chocolate! The flavour is very unique and while you are drinking, you can walk around nearby attractions such as Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square.
This is a very popular park in London. There always seems to be something that we didn't see before whenever we go here!
This is a very famous shop in central London that sells a lot of luxurious items. It is a lot of fun to walk around and browse. Try not to spend too much money. Although if you don't have much money, there will be very little you can actually buy!
This garden gives a very nice view of London and not many people know about it. It is also gratis/free.
There are usually several exhibitions going on here so it will be worth finding out what will be shown. There are items from across the world and different periods of history. Entry is free/gratis.
From here you can see the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. You are also near to places like Westminster Abbey and Parliament Street.
This is an arena where lots of shows are held. There are shops around the edges and it is nice place to walk around.
This is another one of our favourite cities. It is very small but is full of history. You can get there within the hour from London Kings Cross. Our favourite restaurant is called the Giggling Squid (we recommend the Duck Confit). There is also a theatre and of course the University. The walk by the canal is very pleasant and the architecture is stunning (you can also do an activity called punting, as shown in the picture).
This is the second recommendation of a city outside of London to see. It is also a very old city with a unique design. The most famous attraction is the Roman Bath (make sure you book in advance to see this because the queue is always very long).
Edinburgh is one of our favourite cities in the UK. It is full of old and beautiful architecture and has a very unique feel. There are lots of museums and tourist attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Make sure you bring a thick coat!
