An impromptu first meeting of Nadine's grandparents! Zack saved Aspen's ferret from inside the couch.

Our first trip together at Seaside! Also both of our's first helicopter ride.

Nadine returns from her first trip to Thailand. She got Zack the traditional Thai shirt of Grumpy Cat dressed like Napoleon. We used this trip as a "test run" to see if long distance would work...

Zack's first trip to visit Nadine in Spokane! Turns out it was going to work for us.

Every time Zack visits Nadine in Spokane, we have dinner at Mac Daddy's and debate whether one should eat mac and cheese with a spoon or fork. We still have not settled the debate.

Long distance continues. We have monthly virtual Wingstop dates.

Our 6-month anniversary! We tested extra-long distance again with Nadine's next international trip, to Europe this time.

Our first Valentine's day! We went to see Titanic on the big screen.

Our first camping trip together! Nadine discovered firearms, and Zack learned not to tent camp in winter.

When Nadine was away, Zack got to know Aspen.

Our first festival together! Tangled moment for the win.

Went to our first wedding together! Zack got to meet all of his long-time X-Box buddies for the first time (the groomsmen!), and we both learned about the joys of West Virginia's humidity.

Our first Noah Kahan concert together! We went back to Spokane (together this time) and endured the smoke from the PNW's famous "fire season". The next morning, Nadine lived vicariously through a girl that got to hug Noah Kahan as he left OUR hotel.

Our first Labor Day camping trip together! Zack won the keg toss in his category and Nadine gave it a good try.

We dressed as Nadine's sugar gliders, Nugget and Mojito, for Halloween!

Our 1.5 year anniversary! Nadine moves into her own apartment. We planned for Zack to move in "probably around April"... By the end of February, Zack's name was on the lease.

We welcomed Moscow to our little family!

Our baby boy graduated puppy class! We watched him and continue to watch him grow into an incredibly smart little bean. He has inherited playfulness from dad and clumsiness from momma.

Our first family vacation together! The Arizas went to Hawaii and the (12) matching shirts were a hit.

Our 2 year anniversary and 2nd Noah Kahan concert together! We paid for better seats than we thought... 2nd row right behind the pit!

Moscow's first time at the beach! Zack met Dom (best man!) in-person for the first time, and Moscow quickly learned that fireworks = bacon.

Nadine went gallavanting off to Thailand again! Moscow kept Zack company this time.

Moscow's 1st Birthday! His ears are still just decorations, and his nubbin tail is still just a nubbin.

Moscow's first Halloween! We dressed as Raquel, the Professor, and Moscow from the Netflix show Money Heist. 10/10 recommend.

Our offer was accepted on our first house! We signed lots of scary paperwork and started being adults and stuff. And we introduced Moscow to his very own backyard!

WE'RE ENGAGED! Zack surprised Nadine at Seaside, and flew out Abby (maid of honor!) to celebrate with us. The cork and its cage from our engagement champagne became our first ornament on our first Christmas tree together!

We officially signed the title to our house! We left the office with huge smiles, zero dollars, and 3 free pens.

Our first Christmas living together (just barely missed 2023!), first Christmas engaged, and first Christmas with Moscow! Moscow's favorite toy was wrapping paper and Zack's favorite toy was Moscow.

We moved into our house! Nadine learned how much stuff 2 people and a dog can accrue in 10 months together.

New year in the new house with a new dog and new rings! This also marked officially 2.5 years together!

Settling nicely into the new house! We impulsively decided to paint the whole inside of the house in "1 day"... We finished painting half of the living room. Moscow's favorite activities include barking at the neighbors across the street while they're in their living room, and sticking his head through the cat door in the garage to watch Nadine do laundry.
