Stuff to Do

Explore Beaverton

Beaverton is our first and forever hometown together and has some amazing eats to check out! For breakfast go to Longbottom's Coffee, and for dinner and drinks head to our bar, Malone's! Handel's is a West Coast speciality and has the best ice cream and milkshakes, it is mandatory to try Red Robin's Campfire Sauce with their bottomless fries, and you can jump into the Oregonian lifestyle by grabbing a flavored energy drink or lemonade from Dutch Bros! (Nadine swears by the Stop Light Rebel)

Visit the Oregon Coast

The Oregon Coast is our favorite spot! It's beautiful and rainy and freezing and windy and salty and magnificent. You should opt for sweatshirts and beanies rather than swimsuits for this one! Seaside is our personal favorite... It has a monument marking the end of the historic Oregon Trail, has mini golf, arcade games, and salt water taffy galore, and is where we got engaged! Seaside, Cannon Beach, and Manzanita are all about 2 hours west of Beaverton.

Visit Mt. Hood

Come explore the mountain you'll be able to see from anywhere in the Portland area! Visit the resorts of Meadows for a historic lodge and ski trails, Ski Bowl for intertubing, or head to Trillium Lake for the most Oregon-esque views! Located 2-3 hours east of Portland.

Visit Portland

Explore everything that Portland has to offer, including the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, and excursions on the Willamette River. Find the craziest bars and the most thrift stores you've ever seen in a 2 block radius, and indulge in some famous Oregon salmon and Portland Hops! celebrate Rose City by catching a Thorns or Timbers soccer game on Saturday if you can get tickets!
