Who made your incredible invitations?
Our dear friend Amanda Sarha! We highly recommend checking out her fantastic artwork here https://www.amandasarha.com/.
Is the ceremony and reception all outside at the Carpenter Nature Center?
Yes! As long as the weather allows it, we hope to have our ceremony in a meadow near the apple orchard. Our reception will be under the roofed pavilion next to the Visitor Center.
Is the Carpenter Nature Center accessible?
Yes, it is! There are paved trails leading to every area of the CNC you will need to access for our wedding. There will just be a short walk on grass to the ceremony, from a paved path. The ceremony will be visible from the paved path. The bathrooms for wedding guests are inside the Visitor Center and are also accessible.
Can I park at the Carpenter Nature Center?
While we ask you to carpool to the wedding if possible, there will be plenty of parking spots in the lot and in the grass for overflow. You can leave your car there overnight if needed.
Do I have to drive to the Carpenter Nature Center?
You cannot take public transit to the CNC since it is out in farmlands, but you can take an Uber or Lyft there. It is just a few minutes outside of Hastings, MN and just across the river from Prescott, WI.
What should I wear?
We love a good excuse to dress up, but we want you to feel comfortable! Dressy-casual is the goal. Wear what feels good and bring a layer because who knows what early May will be like! We don't recommend spiky heels as the ceremony will be in a meadow off of the paved path.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We wish we could invite everyone but we're trying to keep the wedding as small and tight-knit as possible. Thanks for understanding!
Can I bring my kids?
Even though we encourage you to visit the Carpenter Nature Center with your kids in the future, we are unable to accommodate younger guests on our wedding day.
What should I look forward to eating?
We are SO excited that our favorite restaurant Himalayan (http://www.himalayanmomo.com/) is catering our wedding buffet-style. It will be self-serve and includes veggie, vegan, and gluten-free options.
